A Eurowings passenger aircraft carrying more than 130 people made an emergency landing at Hamburg Airport on April 10 following a reported technical malfunction.
The flight, which was en route to London, turned back over Bremen before being forced to land at Hamburg Airport. The aircraft, identified by registration number EW 7462, is reported to have experienced an engine failure, Bild reports.
No injuries have been reported among passengers or crew.
Following the landing, the aircraft came to a stop on a taxiway, where airport fire services were immediately deployed as a precaution. Authorities temporarily closed Hamburg Airport, suspending all arrivals and departures while emergency operations were underway.
Further details regarding the cause of the incident have not yet been released.
