The King Fahd Causeway, a key bridge connecting Saudi Arabia with the island nation of Bahrain, reopened on the morning of April 7 after being closed for several hours due to potential threats from Iran.
The King Fahd Causeway Authority announced on X that the sole road connection between Bahrain and the Arabian Peninsula has reopened.
Earlier reports indicated that the bridge was shut earlier the same day over fears of possible Iranian attacks.
