Germany is facing another sharp rise in fuel prices, with both gasoline and diesel reaching new record highs.

The average price for a liter of Super E10 gasoline increased by 6.6 cents to €2.235. Diesel prices also climbed, reaching €2.487 per liter, Handelsblatt reports.

For comparison, on March 30, the nationwide average for Super E10 was €2.087 per liter, while diesel cost €2.295 per liter, highlighting the ongoing upward trend in fuel costs across the country.

Analysts attribute the surge to a combination of global energy market volatility and regional supply pressures.
