Azerbaijan and Germany have held talks on potential Azerbaijani gas supplies to the German market.
The two sides – Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dirk Lölke – expressed mutual interest in developing cooperation across all key areas, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy.
The ministry said the parties exchanged views on energy security, the energy transition, oil and gas, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.
“During the meeting, the sides discussed the supply of Azerbaijani gas to Germany, Azerbaijan’s renewable energy potential, strengthening electricity grids, and prospects for exporting green energy to Europe via the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor,” the ministry noted.
