Azerbaijan is hosting the fifth meeting of heads of authorised bodies responsible for human resources development in the member states of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS), which focuses on the theme of Human Resources in the Era of Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence: Development, Prospects and Challenges.


State service officials said participants discussed the impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence on human resources development, new approaches to personnel management, the development of a workforce capable of meeting modern challenges, as well as expanding the exchange of experience among OTS countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.




Maleyka Abbaszade, Chairperson of the Board of Azerbaijan’s State Examination Centre, provided information on the work being carried out in Azerbaijan in human resources development, the introduction of modern mechanisms for public service management, digitalisation and the use of AI.


Heads of relevant institutions from OTS member states who spoke at the meeting emphasised the importance of holding such an event in Khankendi and expressed satisfaction with their visit to the city.


Officials noted that the rapid development of digital technologies is creating new requirements for the labour market and human resources management. In this regard, the exchange of experience among member states, the study of advanced approaches and the development of a workforce suited to the future labour market are gaining particular importance.


The meeting also features presentations on human resources development, digital transformation and AI in OTS member states, with participants discussing prospects for further cooperation.
