Russian forces attacked a commuter train in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, injuring several passengers, according to Ukraine’s state railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ).
The company said the injured passengers had been unable to leave the platform and move to a safe distance during the attack, Ukrainian media reports.
UZ said several of those affected sustained serious injuries. Further details on the number of casualties were not immediately provided.
