Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov attended the official opening ceremony of the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, held under the theme “Build Consensus on Stability, Advance Security Governance Together.”
Focusing on international security cooperation, the event is considered one of the key platforms for strengthening trust and mutual understanding among states, as well as promoting peaceful solutions to regional and global security challenges, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.
The forum, which brings together defence officials from more than 100 countries, representatives of international organisations and think tanks, as well as senior military officers and prominent experts on military and security affairs, will continue through September 17.
