TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 23. President of
Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has invited his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat
Mirziyoyev to pay a state visit to Azerbaijan, Trend's special correspondent
reports.
President Ilham Aliyev extended the invitation during a joint
press statement with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat
Mirziyoyev.
“I would like to invite you, Shavkat Miromonovich, to visit
Azerbaijan on a state visit at a time convenient for you,” the
Azerbaijani President said.
He expressed confidence that the two sides would work together
to bring the two countries and peoples even closer.
