TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 23. Bilateral
relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan today are based on a
very solid foundation — both spiritual and material, said President
of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during a joint press statement with
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Trend's special correspondent
reports.

Emphasizing that such a synthesis is not often encountered in
world politics, the head of state noted that the commitment of the
governments of both countries to development, improving living
conditions and pooling their efforts is the most important factor
in ensuring their success.
