Azerbaijan's Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has met with military attachés serving at the country's embassies abroad to review the state of defence cooperation with partner nations and discuss the activities of Azerbaijan's military diplomatic missions.
During the meeting, Hasanov received a comprehensive briefing on Azerbaijan's military cooperation with partner countries over the past year, the work carried out by military attaché offices, and the activities of newly established defence attaché missions in foreign states, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan's Defence Ministry.
The discussions also emphasized the importance of promoting Azerbaijan's state policy under the leadership of President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, with a particular focus on efforts aimed at ensuring sustainable peace and highlighting the ongoing reforms in the country's armed forces.
Hasanov praised the work of Azerbaijan's military attachés in protecting the country's national interests abroad and strengthening bilateral military cooperation with partner states.
