Kazakhstan has begun deploying troops and military equipment across the country ahead of the large-scale Batyl Toitarys – 2026 ("Decisive Repulse") military exercise, the Ministry of Defence said on August 3.
The exercise will be held at training grounds nationwide and is designed to test the readiness of Kazakhstan's Armed Forces to carry out missions under modern operational conditions, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.
Military personnel will also practise coordination between different branches and services of the armed forces during the drills.
The ministry said the movement of troops and equipment is being carried out using a combination of road convoys, railway transport and aircraft.
