BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 3. President of the
Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has approved the "Protocol
between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine on Providing
Financial Assistance to the Embassy of Palestine in
Azerbaijan".
President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree. The document
text was published on his official website.
According to the decree, the "Protocol between the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of the State of Palestine on Providing Financial Assistance to the
Embassy of the State of Palestine in Azerbaijan", signed in Baku on
July 10, 2026, was approved.
After the Protocol enters into force, the Cabinet of Ministers
of Azerbaijan must take measures to implement its provisions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan must notify the
Government of the State of Palestine that the internal procedures
necessary for the protocol to enter into force have been
completed.
