Kazakhstan increased uranium production by 9% year-on-year to 13,000 tonnes in the first half of 2026, according to financial results published by Kazatomprom.
The results indicated that the company's sales volume declined by 1% during the same period, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Kazatomprom expects uranium production to reach between 27,500 and 29,000 tonnes in 2026, provided that sufficient sulfuric acid supplies are available.
