Russian aircraft struck a poultry farm in Ukraine’s Kherson region, triggering a large fire that engulfed production facilities, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said.

According to the agency, the attack involved guided aerial bombs that caused extensive damage to the site.

“As a result of a strike by guided aerial bombs, a large-scale fire broke out. The flames rapidly engulfed the production buildings of the enterprise,” the service said.

Emergency crews were able to bring the blaze under control despite ongoing risks.

“Despite the constant threat of repeated Russian strikes, rescuers extinguished the fire.”

No casualties were reported in the incident.
