Azerbaijan and Pakistan have held talks on strengthening economic cooperation, focusing on trade, investment and business-to-business links, officials said.


According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy, the discussions took place during a meeting between Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli and Muhammad Humair Karim, Secretary of the Economic Affairs Division at Pakistan’s Ministry of Economy.


Both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral economic relations and explored prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries.


Officials highlighted opportunities to deepen trade and investment ties and stressed the importance of supporting joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest. They also discussed the potential for developing new avenues of economic collaboration between business communities in Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
