Karapet Poghosyan, an activist from the Armenian city of Gyumri, has been detained in Armenia.
He was taken into custody as part of an investigation into alleged bribery, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
The detention comes as Armenia holds parliamentary elections on June 7.
