The heads of the Colombian Presidential Agency of International Cooperation and the UN Office for South-South Cooperation, who are participating in the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), have visited Azerbaijan’s ASAN Xidmət centre.
According to the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman Ulvi Mehdiyev briefed the delegation on the activities of the ASAN Xidmət centres, established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as on innovative approaches implemented in the country’s public service sector, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The visitors were informed that ASAN has evolved into an intellectual brand exported to more than 30 countries.
It was also emphasized that the United Nations regards the ASAN Xidmət concept as a leading model in public service delivery and promotes its adoption across four continents.
The meeting further highlighted the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year with the relevant Colombian institution and progress made in sharing the ASAN experience with Colombian counterparts.
Following the briefing, the delegation visited the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Centre, Mobile ASAN Xidmət services, the ABAD public legal entity, and the “Bilim Baku” Centre to familiarize themselves with their operations.
