Germany is renewing efforts to acquire long-range Tomahawk missiles from the United States, Financial Times (FT) reports, citing sources.
According to the publication, Berlin is hoping to persuade the White House administration to approve the sale of Tomahawk missiles together with Typhon launch systems.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is planning a visit to Washington to reiterate Berlin’s proposal to purchase the long-range missile systems.
However, sources said the visit depends on whether Pistorius secures a meeting with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
