Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated, on April 30, that he held a phone call with Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis, during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations.
He said they exchanged views on recent regional and international developments, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of Iran’s Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, Araghchi spoke on the phone with his Polish counterpart, Radosław Sikorski.
During the conversation, diplomats addressed several issues, including efforts to achieve peace in the region, the protection of Polish civilians, and the restoration of navigation through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
Sikorski noted that despite the difficult situation, Poland’s diplomatic mission in Tehran continues to operate.
