The Israeli Defence Forces have urged residents of more than a dozen villages in Lebanon to evacuate northward, saying the move is necessary for their safety after Hezbollah allegedly violated a ceasefire agreement.
Sharing a post on X, the spokesperson Avichay Adraee said they don’t intend to harm anybody; therefore, residents must immediately leave their homes and move away from the specified area toward the Sidon region, Caliber.Az reports.
He made it clear that anyone who is near Hezbollah operatives, its assets, or military equipment is putting their life in danger.
Despite a declared ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, Israeli forces and Hezbollah have continued to exchange strikes, with each side accusing the other of violating the truce.
