Ten Israeli soldiers were wounded during a close-quarters engagement in southern Lebanon, according to a statement released by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
“Overnight, three IDF soldiers were severely injured, and an additional soldier was moderately injured in a close-quarters encounter in southern Lebanon. In the incident, six additional soldiers were lightly injured.
The soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment in a hospital, and their families have been notified,” the army said in its statement.
