Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry has summoned Iraq’s chargé d’affaires, Ahmed Ismail Al Karawi, in Manama to express protest over what it described as continued drone attacks launched from Iraqi territory against the kingdom and other member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The ministry delivered an official protest note, urging Iraq to respond immediately and responsibly to the threats, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
It added that the kingdom reserves the right to take all necessary measures to ensure its security and stability.
