The Iranian Red Crescent Society stated that one of its ambulances was struck early this morning while on a rescue mission in the Komher area.
There were no casualties, the group added, as the crew abandoned the vehicle after spotting an approaching fighter jet.
“Previously, 46 Red Crescent and emergency ambulances across the country were damaged by airstrikes in the recently imposed war, and four Red Crescent Society rescuers were also martyred,” the organisation noted.
