ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 1. President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has invited Saudi Arabia’s Prime Minister,
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, to pay a state visit to
Kazakhstan, Trend
reports via the presidential press service.
Tokayev made the invitation during a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s
Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Faisal Al-Kahtani.
The president emphasized that Kazakhstan attaches great
importance to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with Saudi
Arabia. In turn, Al-Kahtani reaffirmed his country’s strong
commitment to deepening the strategic partnership.
He noted that recently signed agreements on the mutual
protection and promotion of investments, as well as the
establishment of an intergovernmental coordination council, create
new opportunities for expanding mutually beneficial ties.
The ambassador also conveyed sincere gratitude from Saudi
Arabia’s leadership for the firm and consistent support provided by
Tokayev amid the challenging situation in the Middle East.
Tokayev, for his part, reaffirmed solidarity with Saudi Arabia
and other Gulf countries, expressing readiness to continue
supporting efforts aimed at ensuring stability, security, and
sustainable development in the region.
