The Lankaran border detachment intercepted an attempt to smuggle 51.56 kg of drugs from Iran into Azerbaijan.
During operations on March 22, authorities confiscated 41.28 kg of narcotics, followed by 10.28 kg of marijuana on March 25, Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.
Investigations are ongoing in both cases.
