Iranian President Masud Pezeshkian informed his Turkish counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, that Tehran is ready to form a joint team to investigate “claims” regarding Iranian missile strikes targeting Türkiye, ABC News reports.
The announcement comes after Türkiye stated that NATO intercepted a second Iranian ballistic missile that entered Turkish airspace.
The incident in southern Türkiye marks the second missile interception from Iran in the past week.
