French authorities have detained two 16-year-old teenagers in the north of the country on suspicion of planning attacks targeting either a shopping centre or a concert venue, France’s anti-terrorism prosecutor said on February 20.
According to Reuters, the prosecutor stated that one of the suspects had recently begun showing interest in jihadist propaganda.
The identities of the two detained teenagers have not been disclosed.
