The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), commonly known as Dashnaktsutyun, has reportedly decided to participate in Armenia’s upcoming parliamentary elections as part of a bloc with former president Robert Kocharyan.

The Armenian daily Hraparak cited an informed source as saying that such a decision has already been made, Caliber.Az reports.

The newspaper suggests that the parties may avoid a formal, explicit announcement, opting instead for indirect confirmation of their cooperation.

Hraparak further reports that an official statement could be delivered during a press conference to be convened by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the ARF’s Supreme Body.

Meanwhile, the party has refrained from commenting on whether it intends to contest the elections independently or within an electoral alliance.
