Over the past decade, Georgia has made significant strides in reducing oligarchic influence, ranking among the top three European countries in de-oligarchisation, according to the European Research Centre for Anti-Corruption

The ruling party, Georgian Dream, highlighted the country’s strong performance on the basic index, placing it just behind Ireland and the Netherlands. In contrast, 26 out of 41 European countries saw their scores decline over the same period, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.

On the adjusted index, which uses a deeper, multifactor analysis, Georgia ranks second in Europe, trailing only Ireland.
