A delegation of Azerbaijani journalists visited the newsroom of international television channel i24NEWS in Israel, where they were briefed on the channel’s operations and editorial practices amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
The journalists were introduced to i24NEWS’ working principles and editorial approach to covering political developments and conflicts across the region, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
i24NEWS Chairman Frank Melloul said the channel brings together employees from diverse nationalities and religious backgrounds.
“Arabs and Jews work at our channel, as do representatives of all major faiths in the region. We strive for dialogue,” Melloul said.
He stressed that, despite the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, i24NEWS seeks to maintain objectivity in its coverage and provide balanced reporting on unfolding events.
