The Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku was illuminated in the blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag on Monday evening.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev shared images of the illuminated landmark on his X account, expressing gratitude to Azerbaijan.
“Baku looks especially amazing this evening! Our heartfelt thanks to Azerbaijan!” the ambassador wrote.
The illumination comes as Ukraine marks its Independence Day on August 24.
