BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 4. The 31st national
rhythmic gymnastics championships are being held at the Baku
Olympic Sports Complex on August 4-6.
The event was announced by the Azerbaijan Gymnastics
Federation.
Around 50 gymnasts representing the Baku Gymnastics School, Ocaq
Sport Club, the Zabrat branch of Ocaq Sport Club, the Republican
Complex Sports School, Grasiya Sports Club, and Zira are taking
part in the championship.
Athletes are competing for national championship titles in
individual programs across the junior, youth and senior age
categories.
During the three-day competition, participants will demonstrate
their skills with the hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon, as well as in
the all-around event.
The main goal of the championship is to provide young athletes
with additional competitive experience and contribute to the
further development of rhythmic gymnastics in Azerbaijan.
