BAKU, Azerbaijan, July
31. The judicial panel of the Baku Court of Appeal has
retired to deliberate in the appeal proceedings involving Armenian
nationals convicted by the Baku Military Court for crimes committed
as a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan,
including crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, planning
and waging a war of aggression, genocide, violations of the laws
and customs of war, terrorism, financing terrorism, violent seizure
of power, and other serious offenses. The appeals were filed by
Arayik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Davit
Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, Levon Mnatsakanyan, and others.
