Ukraine’s General Staff has said its forces carried out a series of strikes against Russian military infrastructure, including a defence industry facility in Volgograd and targets in Crimea.
In a statement, the General Staff said Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit the Titan-Barrikady plant in Volgograd region, which it described as a facility involved in the production of artillery systems, specialised equipment, and weapons, Caliber.Az reports.
The Ukrainian military also reported strikes on a Pantsir-S1 air defence system in Feodosia and the Petropavlovsk car ferry near Kerch in Crimea, which it said was used to support Russian military logistics in southern Ukraine.
The extent of the damage to these targets is still being assessed, the statement added.
In addition, Ukraine said it struck Russian military command posts in the Liman-Pervyi area of Kharkiv region and in the Leninsky area of Belgorod region, as well as two drone command posts in Lugovoye and Kamenskoye in Zaporizhzhia region.
