On June 27, Ukraine's navy said that its forces had destroyed a Russian boat in the Black Sea during an operation near the coast of the Kherson region.
In a statement, the Ukrainian Navy said the vessel was attempting to provide logistical support on the Tendra Spit, a narrow strip of land located off the region's coastline.
"Every boat destroyed is another step towards liberating Ukraine's sea," the Ukrainian Navy said in the statement.
