At least six people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl, in a Russian airstrike on the city of Zaporizhzhia in southern Ukraine, according to regional officials.


Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said Russian forces used guided aerial bombs in the overnight attack on June 27, Caliber.Az reports.



He stated that three bombs struck the city, damaging a high-rise residential building as well as both residential and non-residential infrastructure. Emergency services were deployed to the scene to assess damage and assist victims.




Ukrainian authorities did not immediately provide further details on the condition of those injured.
