The Israeli military has carried out overnight strikes that destroyed four rocket launchers in Palestine’s Gaza Strip, alleging the launchers had been installed after a ceasefire agreement came into effect.
It said the launchers were fully prepared to fire at Israeli forces and civilians and therefore constituted an immediate threat, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Israeli Defence Forces.
“IDF forces, under the command of the Southern Command, are deployed in the region in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to eliminate any immediate threat,” It noted.
