Expert-level technical negotiations between Iran and the United States, mediated by Pakistan and Qatar, will resume next week, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has announced.
Pakistan is among the principal mediators facilitating negotiations between the United States and Iran, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Fars News Agency.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of the country, Shehbaz Sharif, said the latest negotiations between the United States and Iran, held in Switzerland, had made significant progress, with both sides agreeing on a roadmap to reach a final agreement within 60 days.
In a post on X, Sharif wrote that the first high-level committee meeting conducted under the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding had concluded successfully in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
