U.S. President Donald Trump said that 19 million barrels of oil passed through the Strait of Hormuz in a single day, describing the figure as a record and pointing to declining oil prices as a positive development.
In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote that the volume of oil transported through the strategic waterway had reached an "all-time record," Caliber.Az reports.
He also stated that oil prices were falling and argued that these developments had contributed to improved global security.
