Under the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the country’s “Great Return” programme continues to facilitate the resettlement of families to liberated territories.

According to the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, 18 families comprising 68 people departed on June 19 for the city of Khankendi as part of the ongoing relocation process, Caliber.Az reports.

The families had previously been living in temporary accommodation, including hostels, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings across various regions of Azerbaijan.

Returning residents expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for sustained support and care during their displacement and return process.
