Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Marius Lazurca, Adviser to the President of Romania for Foreign Policy and National Security, to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral economic relations and expanding strategic cooperation.
According to a statement by Jabbarov on X, the discussions focused on key areas of economic and trade partnership between Azerbaijan and Romania, as well as the importance of encouraging mutual investment and exploring new opportunities for collaboration, Caliber.Az reports.
“During our meeting with Marius Lazurca (@MariusLazurca), Advisor to the President of Romania on Foreign Policy and National Security, we discussed key directions of the Azerbaijan–Romania economic and trade partnership, the importance of promoting mutual investment, and bilateral cooperation.
Particular emphasis was placed on joint activities in energy, transit, and digital infrastructure, which further strengthen the strategic partnership between our countries and create new opportunities for addressing common global challenges,” the post reads.
