A new shipment of wheat will be sent from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan on June 15, with a total of seven rail wagons carrying 490 tons of wheat.
The train is scheduled to depart at 15:00 from the Balajari station and will cross into Georgia via the Boyuk Kesik station before continuing toward Armenia, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Earlier, Azerbaijan sent a shipment of 984 tons of diesel fuel to Armenia.
To date, Azerbaijan has exported over 12,000 tons of diesel, along with 979 tons of RON 92 gasoline and 2,955 tons of RON 95 gasoline to Armenia.
Fuel deliveries to Armenia began on December 18, 2025, when 1,220 tons of RON 95 gasoline were supplied.
Following President Ilham Aliyev’s decision in October 2025 to remove restrictions on cargo transit from Azerbaijan to Armenia — restrictions that had been in place since the occupation period — shipments along this route have continued.
