Russian President Vladimir Putin has increased the size of the Russian Armed Forces.
The relevant decree has been published on the official portal for the publication of legal acts, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Under the new decree, the authorized strength of the Russian Armed Forces has been set at 2,399,000 personnel, including 1,510,000 military servicemen.
Previously, in March, the size of the Armed Forces was also adjusted, when it was set at 2,391,770 personnel, including 1,502,640 military servicemen.
