Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces had carried out strikes on a Ukrainian naval base over the past 24 hours, as part of a broader wave of attacks targeting military and infrastructure facilities.

In a statement, the Russian Defence Ministry said the operation involved multiple branches of the armed forces, including aviation, drones, missile units and artillery.

“Operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groupings of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out strikes on a naval base, ammunition and fuel depots, and transport and energy infrastructure facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the ministry said.
