Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plans to launch a new route between Baku and Muscat, aimed at developing tourism, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Oman has stated.


In a post on X, it said AZAL held a presentation in the Omani capital, Muscat, on a charter flight linking Baku and Muscat, where Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Oman, Rashad Ismayilov, also attended the event, Caliber.Az reports.






Speaking at the ceremony, the diplomat said the new route would contribute to the development of tourism, business, and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
