Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s presidential special representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), has called on “aliens” to help persuade UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to step down.

In a post on Twitter responding to US Representative Anna Paulina Luna, Dmitriev wrote:

"Dear Aliens,

As you prepare Contact with Humanity, please show your omnipotence & goodness by convincing Keir Starmer to resign. No abductions or probing — just have him understand what people think of him and that he can give Hope to Western civilization by Resigning."

Luna, in her original post, addressed Starmer directly, writing:

"WTH is happening in the UK? Keir Starmer, your people are getting brutally murdered and you’re literally doing NOTHING."

Her remarks came as anti-immigration protests erupted across the United Kingdom on Tuesday, June 9, following charges against a 30-year-old man reportedly of Sudanese origin in connection with a stabbing in Northern Ireland.

Investigators said the suspect arrived in Ireland from Paris in 2023 and subsequently applied for asylum in the United Kingdom. He has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a bladed weapon and making threats to kill.
