An unidentified drone threat was reported in the airspace of Latvia on June 8, according to Finnish broadcaster Yle.
A warning was issued, with the alert affecting the municipalities of Ludza, Balvi, and Alūksne in northeastern Latvia.
The Armed Forces of Latvia stated on the social media platform X that a NATO fighter jet had destroyed the drone detected in Latvian airspace.
