Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has stated that Moscow has not yet received an official response from Yerevan regarding Russia’s decision to impose restrictions on imports of fruit and vegetable products from Armenia.
Speaking to journalists, Peskov said: “No, it has not been received,” when asked whether Armenian authorities had reacted to the measure, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
The comments follow an announcement by Russia’s agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor, which said on May 28 that it would restrict the import of Armenian fruit and vegetable products starting May 30.
