Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has outlined his vision for the country’s future over the next 10 to 15 years, emphasising peace, economic growth, and regional connectivity.
Speaking at a briefing on May 22, Pashinyan responded to a question about Armenia’s long-term trajectory, presenting a scenario centred on stability and development, Caliber.Az reports.
“I envision a peaceful, sovereign Armenia. I envision a signed and ratified peace agreement with Azerbaijan, a completed border delimitation, and open roads,” he said.
Looking ahead economically, the prime minister expressed confidence in substantial growth. “In 15 years, I envision that our gross domestic product will at least double in real terms,” he said.
He added that such progress would underpin broader political and social development. “In other words, we will be a democratic, free, independent, prosperous state that, conditionally speaking, is a crossroads of peace,” Pashinyan stated.
