US Central Command (CENTCOM) has said that, since the imposition of a blockade on Iran on April 13, its forces have redirected 88 commercial vessels and disabled four.
CENTCOM posted the statement on its social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.
“A U.S. Sailor stands watch aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) as the aircraft carrier transits the Arabian Sea, May 18. CENTCOM forces have redirected 88 commercial vessels, and disabled 4 to ensure total compliance,” the statement reads.
